What our Patients say about us

The Practice conducts regular patient satisfaction surveys. In addition all our clinicians have annual appraisals.

From time to time the CQC carry out both pre-arranged and unexpected inspections of provider premises. To read the summary of their most recent reports, please click here:

Prior to these visits, the last external survey of patient’s views was compiled by Patient Dynamics Ltd. These are some of the comments our patients’ made in this survey:

The General Practice Assessment Questionnaire was developed at the National Primary Care Research & Development Centre for the 2005 GP contract to help practices find out what patients think about their care. In this year’s survey our scores for all questions were significantly higher than the GPAQ averages scores, against which our results have been compared.

GMC Patient Feedback for Doctor Jane Woyka

The General Medical Council (GMC) regularly conducts patient satisfaction surveys.

In December 2018, Dr Jane Woyka’s patients were asked for their views.

The General Practice Assessment Questionnaire was developed at the National Primary Care Research & Development Centre for the 2005 GP contract to help practices find out what patients think about their care. In this year’s survey our scores for all questions were significantly higher than the GPAQ averages scores, against which our results have been compared.

Medical Professionals Feedback for Doctor Jane Woyka

Long continuity of high quality care by individual doctors who know the whole family well

I and my family of 4 children have over 30 years of excellent GP medical care by this practice.  I have recommended this practice to friends.

I am a retired barrister who had a specialist medical negligence practice, and a retired Circuit Judge.

In my experience the main features of the Harrow Healthcare Centre private paying GP practice that set this practice apart from NHS GP practices are:-

  • Long continuity of high quality care by individual doctors who know the whole family well in the traditional family GP model;
  • Quick availability of appointments with individual GP of your choice;
  • GP experienced knowledge of individual local private practice specialists for medical, surgical, and paramedical referrals for investigation and treatment;
  • Doctor Jane Woyka has a special medical interest in the up-to-date risk/benefits with female Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) that has provided my wife with guidance that in my view is as good or better than obtainable from many specialist gynaecologists;
  • The practice have recently started sending patients a copy of the GP’s clinical note on consultations.  This valuable innovation enables patients to check the accuracy of the note, and to understand points they may not have fully absorbed at the consultation.  It is greatly for the safe protection of both patient and doctor.

The quality of attention all round has been excellent, whether I have consulted for a trivial matter or whether I have been referred for major surgery

I have been a patient at Harrow Health Care Centre for almost twenty years and have been continually impressed by the caring way they have looked after me.  I became a patient of HHCC because three generations of our family have consulted doctors at the practice.

The reception staff and nurses are friendly and accommodating and it has generally been easy to book an appointment at a convenient time. I have certainly recommended HHCC to other people as I believe that I can always rely on them.

I have been fortunate enough to receive outstanding care from Dr Woyka, encompassing both physical and emotional support.

The quality of attention all round has been excellent, whether I have consulted for a trivial matter or whether I have been referred for major surgery.

She is knowledgeable and keeps up to date with research and medical developments. Dr Woyka has always been thoughtful and skilful in referring me to appropriate consultants, whilst maintaining an overall view of my health and helping me to plan for the future.

Notably, she was able to contact my cardiologist late on a Friday afternoon in order to enable me to have surgery the same evening. Not something that could be expected from a less exceptional GP!
